A heap of deer faces

   On my way down a mountain today, I saw some Large-billed Crows (Corvus macrorhyncos in Latin, which I think is just neat) pecking at some furry meat from a distance.  I was pretty sure I wouldn't like what I found when I got there, and I was right.  Someone had dumped a heap of deer faces and guts on a shell midden.  Grossest thing I've seen and smelled all week.
