Lake district, Cumbria, last month

Almost a month ago, we returned from France, and went straight up to the Cumbrian lake district.  It's just south of Scotland, and it felt like it.  After a six-hour drive up from Amersham, we got to the former Bobbin Mill that was our home for the week.  It rained a whole lot, and we walked the hills a whole lot.  We stepped in a whole lot of sheep shit.

For my bird pics of the great wet north, France, and anywhere else I've travelled, go here: http://snowyowllost.blogspot.co.uk/

I'm headed to Denmark on Sunday to hang with old friends, drink Tuborg Green, and volunteer at a vineyard.  I imagine that working at a vineyard has its perks.
