Cobain was planning to paint his old 'Ghost of Teavis' scoot for some time now, and we've only gotten to it lately. On a sweaty and rainy day, we smashed back a few green cans, masked up the beast, then painted her up, two-tone styley. Man work. My snot was black for 2 days, guess we shoulda used masks-uh. Too late. He sold her on the weekend and got a decent price, considering he put a new engine, muffler, and seat into it before the paint job. No more Ghost of Teavis.
I'm in such dire need of a break, I'm contemplating flying to Seoul and seeing if it's at all possible to snag a standby seat to Vietnam or Cambodia. We'll see.
engine, muffler and seat? how'd he make any cash back from selling it?
ReplyDeleteHe didn't profit, he just made back what he put into it.
