Ramyan machine / VHS-mageddon

  Here's proof of my strange ways.  I was recently offered a free VCR and a free microwave.  I snapped up the VCR like a rat hoarding almonds.  Hell, who knows when I may find a stack of awesome VHS tapes somewhere?  As for the microwave, I sniffed haughtily and said 'When do I ever use a microwave?'
  On the subject of VHS, I have a decent little VHS collection back in the real world, including most of seasons 1-5 of The X-Files - the only seasons that mattered.
