Oriental Turtle Dove + Peregrine Falcon = This, every time

I shoulda looked both ways.

Ooohh, schnap!  You really cannot wrestle a dove.  Took one for the team, did this one.
  I once tried to get the attention of an attractive young lady by saying "Your hair is real long."  As the words fell out of my mouth, I prayed that one of my friends would save me by jumping in front of my mouth, taking my awesome line like a bullet, but no such luck.  The young lady rightly seemed unimpressed, and wandered away.  I often say dumb things, especially when other people are there to hear them.
