Long Day Round

Campground from hell

Nice helmet, Hoss

Mountain-top hermitage

Bridge to nowhere, yet

'Tea good for removing your life's stress'

In the spirit, but not the scale, of our epic November 2009  'Great Jeju 1-day Circumnav' (it's in the archives, check it out and relive the dream), Cobain and I drove our wee fiddies around Dolsan Island today.  Rode some sweet winding coastal roads, and rolled through tiny Korean villages filled with ancient residents who are definitely not accustomed to seeing big-nosed visitors on a regular basis.  It's no Jeju, but Yeosu definitely has got some cool spots to check out.  Geez, Ole Mustard (Rustard) sure chugs the damn gas - I had to fill up the tank twice, while Cobain only filled his once and still had gas to spare.  Totally unfair.  We ended the day with some old-school traditional tea overlooking Yeosu, as the sun went down.  Romantic, I know.
